2009 Chalk Art Festival: Another Successful Year!

Congrats to the 110 chalk artists, numerous sponsors and 20,000 attendees whose participation increased awareness of the need for families for children in foster care. This year’s event raised $25,000 to find families for children. Kudos to the 5 foster/adoptive dads of the year and to everyone who supported our inaugural silent auction. Thanks to both Salt Lake dailies, KSL Newsradio, KSL-TV and online blog for providing excellent event coverage.

Utah Foster Care Foundation's Chalk Art Festival not only gives the community something to look forward to every Father's Day, but also helps to create awareness of the need for foster/adoptive families across the state of Utah as well as raise funds that help Utah Foster Care Foundation find, train and support foster/adoptive families for Utah's 2600 children in foster care. Chalk Art Festival 2009 was a great success and we look forward to even greater successes next year!
